"The place is bustling, almost all tables had reserve signs, so we were lucky to get a table for 2. They allow byo drinks so a lot of people were in with their beers and wines. I was expecting some anglecised (sweet) indian, but was wrong! the flavours are genuine and food cooked from scratch. We loved the Chicken Kathi roll the best! Prices are high, but it seems its acceptable to locals who just kept coming! Its clean, basic seating with everyone in chill vibe!"

"We ordered the tandoori chicken and the butter chicken plates. The food was delectable and plentiful! The portion sizes were substantial and absolutely yum, our belly was full but our tastebuds wanted more. We will definitely visit again!"

"Stumbled into this ripper Indian joint and blimey, the tucker’s bloody beaut—the roti was flakier than me nan’s Sunday scones. Service was top-notch too, givin’ us a free mango lassi to chuck a 5-star review, and fair’s fair, I ain’t one to say no to a cold one on the side, so I’m slingin’ ‘em a perfect score ‘cause the food’s a bloody good and I’m chuffed to bits—get ya arse down here and give it a go!"

"This place is just so darn good, the samosa chaat was bursting with flavour and the vindaloo was perfect, the meat cooked to perfection. These are personal favourites! Will be coming back here continually."

"Great food with a fun 80s vibe Derryl’s Indian Fusion sits inside a vibrant 80s-themed space that adds a lot of character, even for a takeaway visit. I ordered a zinger burger, a lamb Kathi roll and a couple of samosas, and everything was genuinely enjoyable. The zinger burger came with a crisp fillet that tasted good overall, even though the batter was a little mild. The lamb Kathi roll had great flavour and felt well made, though it was slightly on the smaller side. The samosas were fresh and satisfying and rounded out the meal well. Even as takeaway the food travelled nicely and kept its quality. I was impressed and curious to try more of the menu. I’ll definitely be back."

"Derrel’s is a keeper. We got the pork vindaloo plate and a butter chicken with rice and roti. So much flavour and quite filling, food also came quite fast. They also do “Kathi rolls” (not pictured) - they’re like an Indian version of a kebab - curry and rice with raita all wrapped in crispy roti bread and wrapped up as a roll. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is retro trendy. Super cool that they do a spider with any of the cans of soft drink in their fridge. Definitely recommend!"
